Anthony Phillips: “Radio Clyde 1978” re-issue announced

As part of the CherryRed reissues, a new edition of the Radio Clyde 1978 album will come in June.

In July 1978 as part of the promotion for his second album Wise After the Event, Anthony recorded a live radio session for Radio Clyde in Scotland. The performance included material from his first two solo albums and the first Private Parts & Pieces album.

Originally issued on CD in 2003 and unavailable for some years, this new edition has been remastered and expanded to include two previously unreleased tracks recorded in a session for Pennine Radio in 1978.

Tracks:

Reaper
Moonshooter
Flamingo
Conversation Piece
Silver Song
Master of Time
Which Way The Wind Blows
Now What (Are They Doing To My Little Friends)?
Field of Eternity
Postlude: End of the Season

Bonus tracks

Reaper (session for Pennine Radio 1978)
Which Way The Wind Blows (session for Pennine Radio 1978)

The new edition also contains a new essay in the booklet. Radio Clyde 1978 (remastered and expanded) will be out on 27 June. You can pre-order directly from CherryRed. In the meantime, a new edition of Sail The World will come out on 25 April (click here for details)

Radio Clyde 1978 will also be the last CherryRed reissue from Anthony Phillips’ catalogue.
