Album Tracks
For the fourth album, Peter Gabriel took a lot of time by the standards of the time, which probably had something to do with the fact that he recorded the album at home with rented equipment, so he didn’t have to stick to booked studio dates and had a lot of time to experiment (captured in a TV special of the Southbank Show). An interesting remake of Dog One, which was only performed at the WOMAD festival, was released in 2002 by Tony Levin. Without Gabriel’s participation, but with his almost complete 1982 band. Peter Gabriel also used a theme from Wallflower in the piece At Night from the Birdy soundtrack. New recordings of the songs The Rhythm Of The Heat, San Jacinto and Wallflower were made in 2010/11 for his orchestral album New Blood.
