Bass player Mo Foster has died

Mo Foster is mainly known for being a popular session bass player, but he has also played other instruments: guitar, keyboards and drums. In the 80ies, he played on two Genesis-releated albums: The Fugitive by Tony Banks and Hello, I Must be Going! by Phil Collins. He was also part of the band for Frida’s Something’s Going On album, which Phil Collins produced. He also played in Phil’s live band in 1982. Foster also played on albums by Gerry Rafferty, Jeff Beck, Peter Green, Gary Moore and Howard Jones, just to name a few.

Mo Foster died on 3 July 2023 from cancer.
