From November to mid-December 1997 Genesis had scheduled the first leg of their North American tour. Slow ticket sales and technical problems caused that part of the tour to be postponed indefinitely first and cancelled completely later. The first show was therefore the Budapest show on 29/01/1998.
In 1992 Genesis went on the We Can’t Dance Tour, and once again everything became bigger and more gigantic than on previous tours.
In 1993 Genesis together with Pink Floyd and Queen played a concert at Cowdray Ruins. It was their last performance with Phil Collins.
1983 and 1984 saw Genesis on their biggest tour so far, though it led them mainly through North America. In Europe, only the English fans had the privilege to see the bands for five nights at Birmingham.
