Their Beggar On A Beach Of Gold brought the Mechanics to Imst, Austria, for the first time.
Their European Beggar On A Beach Of Gold tour brought Mike + The Mechanics to Sweden where they spontaneously tacked on a gig at a local disco. Lars Köster was there.
In the eye of the public Mike + The Mechanics have shrunk to a trio. In March 1995 they released a new album that is more acoustic than previous releases.
Live performances by Mike with the Mechanics have become rare to a point when even the concerts after Paul Young’s death came as a surprise. Mike, however, occasionally plays charity shows.
