In his recent Full Moon Club Video, Gabriel says he plans to play some shows in Australia in New Zealand – but with his band, so “old blood”.
Peter Gabriel will return with his New Blood show for at least 10 shows this fall. The shows will take place in September and October.
A while ago Peter Gabriel announced the release of a deluxe Scratch My Back boxset. This set is now available.
According to the official tour diary, work on a live album will begin shortly. More live dates are planned in Europe this fall.
Dickie Chappell intimates in the tour blog on Peter Gabriel’s official web site that there may be more shows to come in autumn.
In the early 90s Peter Gabriel set up the RealWorld Recording Weeks where artists from all across the world would record music in a kind of “musical brainstorming”. One thing that came out of this is the album Big Blue Ball. It is not a Peter Gabriel album, but a collaboration project that took more than fifteen years to be released. Gabriel can be heard on four of the songs.
