In summer 2006 Ray played a couple of shows to warm up, as it were, for the upcoming Stiltskin fall tour. It was suffocatingly hot when he played a small club in Heiligenhaus near Essen, Germany, on July 19, 2007. Christian Gerhardts tell us his impressions.
On February 14, 2005 Ray Wilson played the KKC, a student-run club at the Duisburg-Essen University, with Irvin Duguid and his brother Steve Wilson. Christian Gerhardts set up this gig. Here are his impressions.

In 2002 Ray Wilson brought his acoustic programme to German audiences for the first time. On June 15 he was headliner at the Park-Kult-Tour festival in Duisburg; the day after that he played his first real solo concert in Germany at Kaue, Gelsenkirchen. Christian Gerhardts was in the audience.
Ray Wilson has a home game every year at the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. In 2001 Ray played 13 sold-out shows in a pub called Madogs. Martin Christgau was there.
