In the autumn of 2003 Ray Wilson toured Germany with a full band for the first time since Cut_. Melanie Hohmeyer watched and listened closely.

In 2002 Ray Wilson brought his acoustic programme to German audiences for the first time. On June 15 he was headliner at the Park-Kult-Tour festival in Duisburg; the day after that he played his first real solo concert in Germany at Kaue, Gelsenkirchen. Christian Gerhardts was in the audience.

Ray Wilson has a home game every year at the International Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. In 2001 Ray played 13 sold-out shows in a pub called Madogs. Martin Christgau was there.
