Chester Thompson Trio: Album and tour ahead

Chester Thompson has recorded a new album with Joe Davidian on Piano and Keyboards and Michael Rinne on Upright and Electric Bass. The new album wil simply be calles Chester Thompson Trio. The album is due for release soon, most likely some time in April. At this point there is no information where and when the album will be available. We’ll keep you updated.

In May and June, Chester will be on tour with his Trio in Europe. We have reported recently that Chester plans a couple of shows, and now we have the complete list of tour dates. Some of the dates are workshops / clinics, as you can clearly see in the list below. Especially in Paderborn Chester Thompson is a regular guest – and like in previous years, they will also show the 1992 drum kit from the We Can’t Dance tour. Some of the other shows are part of Jazz Festivals, other are standard concerts in clubs or Jazz clubs.
