Djabe & Steve Hackett: New song „Tears For Peace“

Tears For Peace is a new song by Hungarian band Djabe, who are a household name to Hackett fans. Steve has played live with the band several times and they have helped him out during the recordings for Genesis Revisited II.

Djabe have recorded a new album called Down And Up. It includes a song called Tears For Peace on which Steve Hackett does not only play the guitar but sings, too. His vocals are refreshingly open and different from most songs on his solo albums. The band recorded a video for the song, and they got Steve Hackett to drive a tank in the video – not quite the accustomed view. We have embedded the video for the song in this news item. Djabe’s new CD can be ordered online from their official website as well as from Hackettsongs. The album is not (yet) available from mainstreet retailers.
