Rather sad final (?) chapter - tough to think that it’s twenty years plus since we’ve seen any original material from him (bar one song from a film soundtrack). I wonder how much of that inactivity is down to his health issues and how much is down to depression and attendant alcohol dependency. What a shame that such a huge talent has checked out to such an extent. I wish him every happiness but it’s a sad story

Would be quite cool if the two Steve's could persuade Ian Mosely to play some proper drums on this. Much better than some overly-produced electronic beats.

Saw G2 last night in Esher Surrey and they were brilliant. If they are passing close to you I would recommend it. They have been working on some 1978 material recently, so played Burning Rope, Down and Out, Say It's Alright Joe and The Lady Lies from ATTWT along with the usual sprinkling of classics from 71-77. The guitarist is remarkable and it's overall a really good experience if you get the chance.

[…] I did not mean to be harsh. I was just wondering why you think there s not much left in stock. The stuff you don't find interesting is the stuff I really enjoy. Live versions of the i/o tour won't come before the long lelayed concert film and other live stuff might be less exciting for me - in comparison with the track evolution thing they do now. But - everybody can like it or not, of course.
