I ordered a copy from Wymer, and got an email yesterday letting me know that the book has been dispatched. Looking forward to reading it!

I had it back then, and enjoyed the movie a lot. I haven't listened to it at all since then though. I loved Up and was on a big PG kick for a year or so. The Sky Blue refrain was nice to hear and worked well in the context of the movie. I don't have anything else to add other than I suspect if I were to revisit both film and OST now it would provoke strong memories of my life at the time.

It's an excellent track with his punk vocals range. I like it a lot. 15 for me.

Christian posted the thread PETER GABRIEL - Long Walk Home (Music From Rabbit-Proof Fence) album thread.
Peter Gabriel's third major soundtrack came out in 2002 (apparently for the first time on this day in 2002 in Australia) and was one of four albums to be released from the sessions that led to UP (OVO and UP are two of the other albums and the third, i/o, never came out as intended back in 2002. The 2023 release didn't contain any of the material from 2002).
Since we do not have an album thread about Long Walk Home yet, here it is.
So, what do you think about this soundtrack? Do you own it?…

My vote was also 12 points. And to answer your question .- it contains the same sound element they used for "No son of mine" so they obviously didn't want that twice on the record.
Duke of Earl of Mar replied to the thread TONY BANKS appears on new Rocking Horse Music Club album.
It's been almost 30 years since Tony wrote something that's not pure orchestral stuff.
Also, it's the first time he collaborates on something that he's not leading.
Can't wait for the release !

"His invisible dogs have disappeared."
"Sorry? His...invisible dogs... have disappeared?"
"Yeah, completely vanished."
"Well that'll make them hard to find..."

Good, and that is perhaps a bit generous.
