Genesis: New coffee-table book “In Our Flight Of Fancy”

The full title of the book is Genesis: In Our Flight Of Fancy – Photographs To Be Listened To And Music To Be Seen. It is a lovingly compiled collection of high-quality art photography that relates to full songs or partial lyrics by Genesis. Interestingly, all the songs referred to in the book are from the post-Gabriel era.

The authors of the book and the photos are Genesis fans themselves. Maurizio and Angela Vicedomini, Salvo Zannelli and Daniel Klöckner had the idea for the album and produced it on their own.

The book has 136 pages and is about 12x12in large. Print, cover and binding are high-quality. It is published by Vier Augen Verlag.

On one of the first pages there is the reproduction of a hand-written dedication by Steve Hackett which reads:

” Vicedomini’s photographs in this book depict the essence and atmosphere of the Genesis Iyrics. From a gentle magic to the dark and tempestuous and from a sense of suffering to hope and Jubilation. The photos have a powerful energy. They evoke a universe of dark and light. and in themselves are masterpieces.”

The book has been authorized and approved by the Genesis management.
