Genesis: “The Lamb Lies Down” book coming soon

The legendary Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway will celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. During the tour of 1974 and 1975, photographer Robert Ellis shot many legendary photos. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the album and tour, Robert decided to put together a book with many never before seen photos from that tour. Since the Lamb-tour was never filmed, it’s an unique chance to see the original band on stage in this book. Robert Ellis says: “I want this book to be seen as a companion to the album, not a critique of the songs, the band, or the show – more an extended super deluxe packaging for a live album that never was.”

The book will be published in large format hardcover, with 180 pages full of photos in colour and b/w and 30cm x 25cm in size. The release will happen this autumn – when The Lamb turns 40.

Preorders are being taken now at this page, The book costs £85 with no additional shipping costs, but please be aware of possible custom taxes.

Preorders will receive an exclusive free 24 page colour booklet. The Pre-Order period will close on September 30 at midnight. After that time, the booklet will cease to be added to any further book orders and the shipping and packaging cost will be added to the check-out price of any further book orders according to the destination logistics in the normal way
