Genesis: “Three Sides Live” in HD on Blu-ray

It will be an autumn full of Genesis releases: a few weeks ago, the career spanning 3CD-set R-Kive was announced and just a few days ago, the announcement for a Blu-ray / DVD release of the documentary Sum Of The Partsfollowed. Now, it has been confirmed what was rumoured on the internet for a couple of weeks: The concert film from 1982, Three Sides Live, will also get a DVD and HD Blu-ray release. Originally, the film was only available on DVD as part of the boxset The Movie Box (2009).

For the HD-release on Blu-ray, the original film has been fully restored. The film will be released with the intercuts, which means the interview and backstage snippets in between songs remain where they were, so the original film has not been altered. The bonus material is the same as in the movie box version – a few live tracks in 5.1, but Audio only! The Blu-ray and DVD are schedules for a November 03 release in the UK and most of Europe.
