Genesis: Tour announced for November/December 2020
This morning on BBC Radio 2 Genesis have officially announced their live comeback after 13 years off. The tour, rumoured for several weeks now, will kick off in Dublin, Ireland 16th November 2020 and lead through 9 cities in Ireland, Northern Ireland, England and Scotland. The tour will end in Glasgow on 11th December 2020. We expect additional concerts.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday 6th March 2020. Prices are yet unknown.
The band will consist of Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks as well as long-time band member Daryl Stuermer and Phil Collins’ son Nic (18), who recently joined him on his last solo tour.
On the Turn It On Again Tour 2007 Genesis only played 2 shows (Manchester und London) and one festival appearance at Live Earth (London) in their home country. In comparison Gemany received 9 concerts that time. Genesis last played in Dublin, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow in 1998. The last show in Leeds was in 1992, whereas Liverpool has been waiting for a concert for almost 40 years. For Belfast it will be the first Genesis concert in more than 50 years of band history.
At the moment it is unsure whether there will be further concerts in 2021. As usual we will keep you informed about any further developement. So watch this space for possible news about a tour continuation.
