Mike + The Mechanics: “Living Years 25” – UK tour in 2014

As we have reported frequently since last summer, Mike + The Mechanics will finally go on tour to celebrate the Living Years jubilee. The album has been released 25 years ago in 1988. Mike + The Mechanics will celebrate the release with a special jubilee tour and a re-release of the original album. Little is known so far about the re-release, but the title track has been rerecorded with Andrew Roachford on vocals and a South African choir. Some general aspects can be found in an interview with Mike Rutherford, conducted by GNC last year (click here to read it). You’ll get more information on that when we have it.

Meanwhile, 21 dates have been confirmed for the UK next February and March. These dates will be part of the Living Years 25th Anniversary Jubilee tour. Further dates are likely, but have not been confirmed yet. Check out our tour dates 2013 + 2014 page to find more information.
