Mike + The Mechanics play the Prince’s Trust concert in London
Two members of Genesis will be playing at the Prince’s Trust gala concert in London on November 17: Phil Collins and Mike Rutherford. This will probably be the first time Mike + The Mechanics perform live with their new singer Andrew Roachford.
Eric Clapton will be the main act. Other artists include Tom Jones, Brian May and Roger Taylor (of Queen), Status Quo, Alison Moyet and Midge Ure. The concert takes place on 17/11 at the Royal Albert Hall, London. It is sold out, but it may be broadcast in UK TV in December.
The Prince’s Trust was founded by the British crown prince Charles, who is also its president. The Trust aims to help young people who have a certain disadvantage to find a job and to support them in their education.
