Genesis: 1983 – 1998 boxset on vinyl
The re-release of all Genesis studio albums from Trespassonwards started in 2007 with the release of 1976-1982 on SACD/DVD discs (CD/DVD in North America). It was followed by 1983-1998 and also the much anticipated 1970-1975. All albums have also been issues on standard CDs later on and the first two boxsets also came out as vinyl editions (without the bonus content and bonus discs). Now, the red boxset, spanning the later years of the band from 1983-1998, will also be released on vinyl. It contains the albums Genesis and Invisible Touch (180g Single LPs) and We Can’t Dance (180g gatefold Sleeve Double LP) and Calling All Stations (180g Gatefold Sleeve Double LP). Calling All Stations contains three sides of music and has an etched fourth side, showing an image of the band (just like the original limited edition pressing from 1997).
The set is due for a May release and can be preordered in Europe at amazon-uk andamazon.fr. In North America, it is only available via import at amazon.com.
