Genesis: "Lamb"-Boxset comes later this year


Expanded edition announced by Record Collector Mag

The new issue of Record Collector magazine announces an "expanded" reissue of the Genesis album The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway!

Rumors about a reissue of the Genesis classic The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway have been around for a while and the discussion picked up speed after Phil Collins announced a box set for his album Both Sides. Apparently Concord not only wants to reissue the back catalog, but also release box sets for various albums.

The latest issue (October 2024) of the British Record Collector magazine now states that "an expanded 50th anniversary edition of The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway will be issued later this year". We don't have any details about the content yet, but it's safe to assume that a surround mix of the album will be part of this set. More information will follow as soon as we have it.
