Peter Gabriel has released a song from his unpublished album Son Of Ovo for a good cause. He gave the song Make Tomorrow Today for the Download To Donate Haiti (Music For Relief) charity.
UPDATE: After a couple of hours Make Tomorrow Today was replaced by “Heroes” for unknown
reasons. Gabriel’s official website has confirmed the change but not given any
explanation.
The song is available from this link. The organisers ask you to donate for the victims of the Haiti earthquake, for which you get an album full of rare songs by various artists. You do not actually have to donate to get the music, but the good cause is the central aspect of the whole thing; we endorse this charity.
Gabriel’s own version of Make Tomorrow (from the OVO album that came out in 2000) is called Make Tomorrow Today. It is quite a bit shorter than the original, but all the vocals are Gabriel’s.
Peter Gabriel created a mixture of the World Music in Passion with the Mainstream of So.
