The third track that Peter Gabriel is making available to his Full Moon Club subscribers on Bandcamp this lunar cycle is another demo that was created during the sessions with Martin Hall before Gabriel's first solo album. You Never Know (Demo) also features Phil Collins, who was involved in the sessions at the time.
In addition to this track, which was later released by Charlie Drake in a different version, there is an accompanying video by Peter after a long time. In it, he tells us something about the background to the sessions and also looks (somewhat whimsically) at the path from the time before Genesis to the sessions after Genesis. It is also interesting that some tapes of the session are shown in the video. One reads “it (Genesis) 2 takes”. However, Gabriel does not go into this in his video.
As usual, you can now stream You Never Know (Demo) as a Full Moon Club subscriber on Bandcamp or download it in various file formats. You can find the Full Moon Club here!
Gabriel's Full Moon Club on Bandcamp provides fans with three tracks per month and costs £3 per month. A credit card is required for the subscription.
