The violinist Alicja Chrzaszcz has released her new single, on which Ray Wilson sings. Alicja has been playing the violin in Ray Wilson's live band for many years. Now she has released her first single. It is Auld Lang Syne, which is a Scottish folk song. It is sung at the turn of the year to commemorate the deceased of the past year.

For her new single Auld Lang Syne, the Polish star violinist ALICJA collaborates with none other than Ray Wilson, the former front singer of the legendary rock band Genesis. Together they breathe new life into the re-composition of the Scottish traditional and make the song an epic listening experience.
It's an alternating musical firework between the two artists, which gives you goosebumps just in time for the turn of the year: while Ray Wilsons unique, warm and gravelly voice are accompanied by cinematic orchestral sounds, ALICJA announces with virtuoso cadences and sensitive melodic passages on her violin the upcoming solo album Blue Moon Love.
Hit producer Robert Bartha (Leona Lewis, Nightwish, José Carreras and many others) creates a mystical, almost dark atmosphere at the beginning of the song and then transforms it into a folkloric, happy Celtic rock song with typically Scottish elements. In short: it is a completely new interpretation of the traditional and is sure to warm many hearts at the tu of the year.
So far, there is no further information on when the new album will be released or who else is involved on the album. The single is now available on the Apple Music and Spotify streaming platforms and can also be listened to on YouTube.
Alicja Chrzaszcz will play two more concerts with Ray Wilson in Bochum (Germany) before Christmas, before continuing / restarting the tour at the end of February 2025.
