Steve Hackett has been incredibly active over the last few years and has been part of the music business for roughly 45 years now. Matt Groom has now produced a full length documentary about Steve, which is due for a September release. The documentary will be called The Man, The Music and explores Steve's life from childhood days, the days with Genesis to the more recent activities and reveals new detail about the man behind the respected Progressive Rock icon he is today. The footage consists of many interesting interviews, including Steve himself, his band, but also his brother or his mother. Steve himself has supported the project and it is therefore an official Steve Hackett release. The Man, The Music will be released by indie label Wienerworld on September 7 and can be pre-ordered from their website or amazon-uk. Steve will also make this release available in his webstore. In North America, the DVD will be released on 16th October, available at amazon.com.
