Paul D’Adamo records an album with Phil Collins’s band
In the last couple of months and years the American musician Paul D’Adamo has been working on his first solo album. It contains many cover versions of Genesis and Phil Collins songs.
What is rather interesting about this album is the list of celebrity guest musicians: Chester Thompson plays on the album, and so do Daryl Stuermer, Brad Cole, Leland Sklar, Arnold McCuller, Amy Keys, Lynne Fiddmont, Luis Conté and Gerald Albright, to name but a few. With them, Paul has assembled a large part of Phil Collins’s band on his own record. The album is called Tell Me Something and contains ten songs:
Tell Me Something
Long Long Way To Go
Miss You
Doesn’t Anybody Stay Together Anymore
Entangled
Woman Like You
Please Don’t Ask
Like It Or Not
Constant Change
Guide Vocal
Paul has done a lot of promotion – mainly on Facebook – for this project in the last couple of months, and he has drawn the attention of a remarkable number of people to his album. There are plans to release the album on CD in autumn.
The album Tell Me Something is currently only available as mp3 from iTunes and amazonMP3.
