Peter Gabriel: iTunes-Single #6 released

Yesterday, the 6th iTunes Single from Peter Gabriel’s current album Scratch My Back was released. The package contains Gabriel’s version of the Talking Heads classic Listening Wind, while David Byrne covers I Don’t Remember from Gabriel’s third album. Byrne’s version sounds a bit like Merritt’s Not One Of Us, although this impression fades the more you listen to the song.

Before Byrne and after Merritt, Paul Simon has already covered Biko, Bon Iver has chosen Come Talk To Me, Elbow covered Mercy Street and Lou Reed did Solsbury Hill. There’s no information yet about iTunes-Single #7, due end of July.
