Peter Gabriel: “New Blood” and “Live In London” in autumn

It’s going to happen soon: Peter Gabriel has confirmed in his current Full Moon Club video that both the New Blood album and the concert video Live In London are finished and going into production now.

The New Bloodalbum presents a number of Gabriel’s own songs he has played on the current tour in orchestral form. It had not yet been revealed which songs exactly are going to be included. In fact the album may even turn out to be a 2CD set. Gabriel has definitely recorded quite a number of songs for the project. It seems rather unlikely, though, that late-comers to the New Blood concert setlist like Biko and Secret World will be part of the album.

When New Blood is released in autumn it will likely have a companion in Live In London. The concert film from the show at the Hammersmith Apollo in March [2011] will come out in Standard Definition and as High Definition 3D. Whether there will be a ‘normal’ blu-ray or only a 3D blu-ray is not yet certain. We will keep you informed!
