Peter Gabriel: New song – “Open Your Eyes”

For the first time in years there is a new Gabriel song that sort of falls into the rock music category. Open Your Eyes is a collaboration between Salmad Ahmad of Pakistani rock band Junoon and fellow musicians Peter Gabriel, Alison Sudol and Samina Ahmad. It was recorded for the Pakistan Flood Relief project that collects money to help the victims of the flood in Pakistan. Proceeds from the sales will go to the project.

The song is nearly six minutes long and Peter sings much of the lyrics. It has come out today and is available from amazonMP3:
