Peter Gabriel: New version of “Signal To Noise” released
A few weeks ago, word has reached the fanbase that Peter Gabriel was going to submit a song for the new album project by Rupert Hine, The Art Of Peace: Songs For Tibet II. In the meantime the news was revealed that Peter Gabriel’s contribution would “only” be a remix of his anthem Signal To Noise. Two weeks ago, the sampler was finally released in digital format and to the surprise of many, the Signal To Noise (Cut In Edit) is more different from its original version than we thought. It starts the same way the UP-version does, but it evolves into a flood of sounds, especially with dominating electric guitars and could be the definite version of the song for many fans. It feels more distrurbing, rougher, edgier than the album version. The album is available in digital formats, for example at amazon-UK – or you can con tribute to the PledgeMusic project and receive a FLAC version of the album.
Meanwhile, Peter Gabriel is working on a new studio album.
