Peter Gabriel: So, US, UP on vinyl

A while ago we reported that further Peter Gabriel albums will be made available as high quality vinyl editions, once again using the half speed mastering procedure. In the meantime, the announcements were cancelled and it became obvious that the release needed to be postponed. Now it’s finally time: On 15th July,  So, US and UP will be released as 180g Heavy Weight Vinyl editions, to be played at 45RPM.  So will be a 2LP while US as well as UP will be released as 3LP-sets, with five sides of music and one special “etched” side with a motive releated to the artwork. All three albums will come in gatefold sleeves in a design that has carefully been reproduced based on the first pressings of these records. Part of this limited edition is also a downloadcode for high quality 16/24bit files of the albums.
