Peter Gabriel: The Book Of Love / Not One Of Us released
Peter Gabriel has released the first double A-side single from his upcoming album Scratch My Back on the January Full Moon.
Gabriel will introduce one song from his new album every full moon and release it as a digital single at the same time (on iTunes).
These double A-side singles will contain the song from the album and a cover version of a Peter Gabriel song. Users of the iPhone application have the information about the singles and Gabriel’s statement (video) directly on their iPhone and they will be able to listen to excerpts from both songs. The app also has an iTunes link where you can buy the full songs.
The Book Of Love is the beginning. The song is released with its song swap pal Not One Of Us covered by Stephin Merritt of The Magnetic Fields who have written The Book Of Love.
