Peter Gabriel to release four live albums on vinyl

Peter Gabriel will release a couple of live albums this fall and offers a few surprises: Not only Plays Live and Secret World Live will be released on vinyl, but also Live In Athens (that never was a proper live-album and so far only available in physical format as part of the So-Box) and also Growing Up Live, that has been released at least in digital format a while ago.

Peter also wants to help retail stores with these releases, who were suffering from the Corona-crisis.

All albums are half-speed-mastered and run at 33RPM. The remaster was done by Matt Colton, the matsering process by Tony Cousins and the whole project was coordinated by Richard Chappell. All LPs will also contain a High-Resolution Download-Code. The vinyl albums will come out as 2LP, Growing Up Liveas 3LP.

For Plays Live the original artwork has been carefully reproduced and the three remaining albums will come out on vinyl for the first time ever – especially Live In Athens has some brand new artwork by Marc Bessant.
