Peter Gabriel will NOT tour Europe in 2013

Peter Gabriel will be touring North America this fall with his Back To Front / So live concept. He will be joined by all musicians from the original 1986/87 line-up (see This Way Up tourreport here) and he will perform the album So in its entirety plus some classics and also completely new songs!

In his latest Full Moon Club video, Gabriel said that will be taking a break and he only has plans to do a couple of extra shows in South America in early 2013. This means: No European Back To Frontdates in the foreseeable future. Whether or not he is willing to continue the tour in 2014 in Europe is unclear at this point. Gabriel says he wants to do some private touring and visit places he has always wanted to see next year.

This saturday, Peter and the New Blood Orchestra will also play the very last (?) New Blood show in Lisbon. Despite that, he is also currently working on some music for a film.
