Peter Gabriel’s “Voice Project” contribution released

Some time ago the Voice Project was started as a kind of musical peace movement. In the course of the action musicians have covered other musicians’ songs with very reduced means. Peter Gabriel has been doubly involved. He has covered Tom Waits’ song In The Neighbourhood (vocals and piano), and his own song Shock The Monkey has been covered by Joseph Arthur, who himself is not unknown in the Gabriel community. The contributions could only be seen on the official Voice Project website through embedded videos, but at the end of 2012 an album with both songs has been released to almost no attention at all. The album is only available as a download from iTunes and amazonMP3 stores worldwide (and possibly also other services).
