Phil Collins and Tony Banks interviewed for Marquee Club film project

Many fans have recently been wondering how Phil Collins is doing and what he is up to at the moment. Now there is a sign of life. Simon Napier-Bell, renowned manager and producer, is currently working on a film about the legendary Marquee Club in London. He has been interviewing numerous music legends for some time. Most recently, these have included Rick Wakeman and Tony Banks.

An interesting fact is a Facebook post by Simon that was published today. According to it, he was with Phil Collins at Lake Geneva and also interviewed him for his project. Simon wrote the following: Yesterday we filmed Phil Collins at his house by Lake Geneva. He was in top form, full of wicked stories, hugely fun. And he’s just had his studio revamped. For sure, before too long we’re going to be some new music.

Of course, it’s completely unclear whether Phil will be making music again (and, more importantly, whether he plans to release any of it), but at least we now know that he’s doing well and still enjoys (making) music.
