Phil Collins: Bonus tracks for “Going Back” revealed
The eight bonus tracks that will appear on the 2CD special edition of Phil Collins’ forthcoming album Going Back are now known. The Daily Mail reports that the following songs will be added for the special edition of the album:
Tracklisting 2CD Deluxe Version
Tears Of A Clown
Don’t Look Back
Nowhere To Run
Aint That Peculiar
Aint Too Proud To Beg
Too Many Fish In The Sea
You Really Got A Hold On Me
You Keep Me Hanging On
The list is quite interesting. Phil Collins has previously recorded Tears Of A Clown for Testify (it was the song where his acute hearing loss occurred) and released it as a B-side. Ain’t That Peculiar is a song Peter Gabriel would play occasionally live in his early solo career, and You’ve Really Got A Hold On Me was covered by Mike & The Mechanics on their album Beggar On A Beach Of Gold.
There have also been slight changes in the cover artwork (cf. the image).
Phil Collins kicks off his brief promotion tour in Philadelphia. He is going to play only Motown classics during these shows. Find out more about the showcases on our showcase information page.
Phil Collins’s new album Going Back comes out in Germany on September 10 and in Europe on September 13, 2010. The standard version can be preordered from PLAY.com.
