Phil Collins – First show in Philadelphia yesterday

Yesterday, Phil Collins started his series of showcases in Philadelphia to support his new album Going Back. Collins and his band played the entire album plus the bonus-tracks and they did also a Collins smash-hit – You Can’t Hurry Love, which obviously is a Motown Classic, too.

The band did NOT play any of the Collins songs such as Take Me Home, In The Air Tonight or Antoher Day In Paradise – Phil made that very clear in a radio interview last week already.

Collins will continue his short showcase-tour tonight with a second show in Philadelphia, then the band will perform three shows in New York City, where two shows will be filmed for a DVD release. After that, a TV Special in London and a show at Montreux’s Jazz Festival in Switzerland is scheduled.
