Phil Collins: “Going Back” out soon: Format overview
Going Back is the first Phil Collins album in eight years. It contains a collection of Motown classics and less known Motown songs. Details about the genesis of Going Back are available on our information site about the album.
Going Back will be released on 10th September (Germany), 13th September (Europe) and 28th September (North America). It will be available in various formats. We give an overview here:
Going Back – Standard CD album
the regular album with 18 tracks on CD in a standard jewel case.

Going Back – CD/DVD Special Edition Digipak
the album as a Special Edition with 25 songs on the CD. Additionally, it contains 4 further tracks on the Bonus-DVD as well as bonus video content, such as music videos, a documentary and an interview with Phil Collins. The special edition comes in digipak format.
Going Back– Exclusive Limited Edition CD/DVD-Box
This version contains the Special Edition together with A3 and A6-lithographs with printed signatures and rare photos. This edition comes in a special folder. It is limted to 4500 copies worldwide and exclusively available in the PC Webstore.
Going Back – Vinyl LP
the album (18 track version) on Vinyl.
Going Back – Limited 15 x. Singles Box
all 29 songs from the special edition plus My Girl (live 2010) in an exclusive Vinyl-Singles-Box with 15 (!). singles – all with cover design in Motown style. The singles contain an a and b-side each (so a total of 30 tracks) and they all fit in a black hardcover box. This version is limited!
Competition
The German Genesis Fanclubs runs a competition to accompany the album release. We give away various items – the Exclusive Limited Edition, the Vinyl Boxset and the Vinyl LP.
