Phil Collins: Live shows for „Going Back“ announced

Phil Collins is going to release a new album on 10/09/2010 (German release date). It will be called Going Back and have 18 interpretations of classic Motown songs. Find the full tracklist (including information as to the original artists) on our overview page for Going Back.

There will also be four shows in New York between 22/06 and 25/06/2010 where the new album will be showcased with the motto UP CLOSE & PERSONAL: PHIL COLLINS PLAYS 60’S MOTOWN & SOUL. Tickets for these shows at the Roseland Ballroom will go on pre-sale next Monday. These will be standing only and there are only some 3,000 tickets for each show. 

We have received word that there will be similar events in Europe, too, but we do not have any further information yet.

The line-up for the live shows will be very similar to the list of musicians on the album, with the additions of Collins live band veterans Brad Cole, Chester Thompson and Daryl Stuermer.
