Ray Wilson: “20 Years And More” – DVD recordings

For more than 20 years, Ray is part of the music business and has worked with many different people and was involved in very different projects and bands. People have always asked for a career spanning best-of-set or some sort of “Introduction to Ray Wilson” CD. Now, Ray has started to work on just that. Last friday, he has recorded a show in Katowice for a DVD and CD release. It is the first part of a release called 20 Years And More, to be released during 2013. The show in Katowice was an unplgged show. Besides Ray, Steve Wilson (guitars) and Darek Tarkzweski (piano) were on stage with the string quartet. They performed a mix of songs from all eras, from Guaranteed Pure, Stiltskin, Genesis, Cut_ up to the more recent Ray Wilson and Ray Wilson & Stiltskin albums. The first DVD / CD ist scheduled for late May.

On 14th April, recordings for part two of this release will take place in Warsaw at Radio Trojka. Ray will the play a show with his complete band. The band will then also perform songs from the upcoming album Chasing Rainbows. The second DVD / CD will be released later this year, more info about that will follow.

Ray’s new album Chasing Rainbowswill be released on 19th April. Possibly until mid-March, the first single Easier That Way will be released. New songs from the album will be premiered live in Berlin (14th March). A full review about the album will be published on our website within the upcoming week.

Please remember that Ray will also join Steve Hackett for his Genesis Revisited shows in Glasgow and Munich this year.
