Steve Hackett: “Genesis Revisited II: Selection” on May 13

Last year Steve Hackett released Genesis Revisited II, a 2 CD set on which he interprets songs from his time in Genesis. He is currently on a worldwide tour to introduce and promote the album. 

A new CD called Genesis Revisited II: Selection will be released on May 13 (UK-release). This is going to be a sort of “best of” or “highlights” CD of the original double album. The new release also offers new material: Carpet Crawlers will be included with vocals by former Genesis singer Ray Wilson. We have reported earlier that the song had been recorded for a release. Carpet Crawlers will also be available separately as a download. The full track list of the Selection CD:

The Selection version of the album cannot be pre-ordered yet. Ray Wilson will be joining Steve Hackett onstage as a special guest for his concerts in Milan, Glasgow and Munich.
