Steve Hackett: it-Event 2009 available as torrent!

Steve Hackett was the star at the Steve Hackett Event the German Genesis fanclub it ran in the Klosterkirche of Remscheid, Germany, on two days in March 2009. While we usually have our conventions in Welkers, near Fulda, we migrated to the Klosterkirche Remscheid because of the rush on the tickets we expected.

Hackett gave us a long and good interview; on the second day he played an exclusive Acoustic Trio concert with Roger King and John Hackett. You can read the transcript of the stage interview here. Soon after the Event Steve Hackett okayed the release of the material as a fan-release torrent, but work on it proved strenuous. There was plenty of sound and film material to choose from, but putting such a project together takes up a lot of time. Thanks to the efforts of many fans, particularly of Volker Warncke and Tom Morgenstern, the 2DVD set of the Steve Hackett Event is now finished.
