Steve Hackett: New album and other projects

Steve Hackett has announced in his blog that he has been working with Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree’s mastermind, on recordings for his (Wilson’s) new solo album in the past couple of days. He has also played and recorded for the new album by drummer/keyboarder Gary Husband (ex-Level 42). Other musicians involved in that album are John McLaughlin, Jerry Goodman, Laurence Cottle and Allan Holdsworth.

Steve also announced that he will start working on a new rock album of his own. Some sort of “Live project” was also mentioned, though no details have come forward about that.
