Steve Hackett: Orchestra shows in Wuppertal 2020

Steve Hackett completed a highly successful Genesis Revisited with Orchestra tour last fall in the UK. We have two reviews about that tour online, one from the London show (click here) and one from four shows (click here). During our interview with Steve Hackett earlier this year, Steve explained that a full tour outside the UK might be too risky from the financial side and also quite challenging regarding logistics. But he also mentioned that one-off shows with local orchestras would be possible. He also said that Wuppertal is likely to happen in 2020. And now this has been cornfirmed!

There will be two shows. The shows take place on 17th and 18th April 2020 in Wuppertal’s “Historische Stadthalle”. Steve will bring his band and the Sinfonieorchester Wuppertal will do the Orchestra part. In addition, they also have the Opera Choir from Wuppertal on stage.

Tickets will be on sale from 2nd May 2019.
