Genesis – Tour dates: The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway Tour 1974-75

Hardly any other Genesis tour is considered as mysterious as the tour for The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway. The cult factor is high because the tour was not filmed and good film documents are rare – and never complete. Many dates were not known for a long time or did not appear in various lists. There were also a number of incorrect dates and locations. Many shows were also cancelled or postponed. We have gradually reconstructed the dates with a lot of effort, including for our two Lamb events in 2001 and 2012. Even the interest in the events was huge – in both years the two days were sold out. There are still many questions about The Lamb in the online world. Many Lamb experts have been involved in answering our tour questions: Mino Profumo, Eddi Pachali, George German, Marcello Cirese and Serge Morissette. In addition, there are many references from fans who have newspaper articles, tickets, passes, posters and the like from the time.

Incorrect lists and dates are still circulating, even in current publications. With our list we try to list the tour dates as accurately as possible.

Corrections are still being made – at the beginning of the year, for example, evidence was found that the concert in Wiesbaden did not take place on 12 May, but undoubtedly on 14 May 1975. If anyone thinks they have discovered a mistake – or is in possession of evidence for other dates or locations, please let us know (preferably send an email to Peter). This also applies to shows that are correct, but so far without clear evidence.
