Phil Collins was a busy musician between 1975 and 1982. In between Genesis tours (and recording sessions), he did quite a lot with his fusion band Brand X. The band mainly played instrumental stuff, which was a mixture between jazz and rock music. Collins himself once described Brand X as a band "with a groove, something I couldn't do with Genesis". The most popular tracks by Brand X include ... And So To F, that was also part of the first Phil Collins solo live-set (and a b-side to his single Don't Let Him Steal Your Heart Away). Sometimes, Phil also took over the singing duties, as he did on Soho and Don't Make Waves from the Product album and Sun In The Night on Morrocan Roll. During that period, other musicians besides Collins include John Goodsall, Percy Jones, John Giblin, Kenwood Dennard, Chuck Bürgi, Mike Clark, Morris Pert, Robert Lumley, Peter Robinson and Danny Wilding. John Goodsall is still part of the band, which still exists today.
Universal Music will release a boxset named Nuclear Burn which contains the first five albums from the band.
Unorthodox Behaviour (1975)
Morrocan Roll (1977)
Masques (1978)
Product (1979)
Do They Hurt? (1980)
Phil Collins did not play on Masques. The compilation is in chronological order, but the tracks are split between CDs, so you have five albums on 4 CDs. There are also some bonus tracks, some of them are taken from unreleased BBC sessions. The Live-album Livestock is not part of the set.
UPDATE: Despite earlier announcements, the album Livestock is actually part of the set. This has now been verified with the product at hand. The announcements were wrong, they were also stating it contains "4 studio albums", which proved to be wrong also. It contains the five studio albums and Livestock.

Phil Collins Debutalbum became a classic of the 80ies and is probably his best album to date.
