Ant produces the majority of the contributions for the Atmosphere Library project Drama, Action, Suspense, of which only one will be commercially released. He is also recording a new version of the Inside The Channel Tunnel documentary track and is producing a potential drama piece.

For another Survival special entitled Web Of The Spider Monkey, filmmaker Nick Gordon again draws on the musical combo of Ant and Joji. The episode first airs on ITV on 21 December 1998.

There is another musical collaboration for Anthony Phillips with Rog Peterson for producer Keith Halden, who - to mark the sad anniversary of the first atomic bomb "Trinity" 50 years ago - needs music for his 30-minute radio special Barabbas The Witness, which will be broadcast on BBC Radio Scotland on 16 July 1995.

In spring, Ant concentrates on recordings, most of which will find a place on his next album Dragonfly Dreams, the ninth part of the Private Parts & Pieces series. The selection also includes pieces that he had already started three years earlier or have their origins in the early 80s.

In 1996, Anthony Phillips decides to brush up on his piano and composition skills and takes lessons. Otherwise, he spent the year recording 33 tracks for the Atmosphere Library project Soundscapes, which filled an entire library CD. Several of his contributions have found their way into commercial releases over the years.
