Mike + The Mechanics continue their selection of shows 2013 with three shows in South Africa. The band will perform in Sun City (17/08), Johannesburg (18/8) and Cape Town (20/8). Sun City and Johannesburg are shows in the frame of the Harley Davidson anniversary. South Africa is also the home country of Arno Carstens, who sang three songs on the last Mechanics album The Road. There is no information whether or not Arno will join the Mechanics on stage during one of the three shows.
Meanwhile, Andrew Roachford revelaed via Facebook/Twitter that the Mechanics have been writing new songs recently. There is no information at this point about a new album and a possible release date. Also, the Living Years 25 Anniversary edition still has no release date, but should be expected this fall to be in time for the anniversary.
